DueGold: Gold Loan Tracker ("DueGold", "the app", "we"), developed by Sathyajithray Namadevan, is a personal finance app that helps you track gold loans you've taken from banks or lenders — amounts, repayment progress, due dates, and details about the jewellery pledged as collateral. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and how you can access or delete it.
DueGold does not lend money, broker loans, or connect you with any lender. It is purely a personal record-keeping tool for loans you already hold elsewhere.
Everything you enter is used only to provide the app's own features: tracking your loans, calculating progress and interest, sending due-date reminders, sharing an account when you invite someone, and verifying your purchase/unlock status. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running the app. There are no ads and no analytics/tracking SDKs in this app.
Database-level row security limits loan, payment, and jewel access to you and people you explicitly invite to your shared account. Jewel photos are kept in a private storage bucket and accessed through time-limited links. Removing a collaborator stops new access, but a photo link already issued to them may remain usable until it expires, for up to seven days.
You can select multiple individual photos through your device's photo picker without giving DueGold access to your whole photo library. Camera access is requested only if you choose to take a photo. Notification permission is requested for loan reminders. You can disable reminders in the app or device settings. The app does not request contacts or device location.
You can access, correct, or delete everything you've entered at any time:
In the app: open the Profile tab → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account. This removes your account, its records, and associated jewel photos from the active service. It does not delete another person's account if you were a collaborator.

Deleting your account is irreversible in the app. Copies you previously exported or shared are outside the app and must be removed where you saved them.
We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete the account, we remove its records and associated jewel photos from the active database and storage. Service-provider backups may be retained temporarily under the provider's backup schedule. Information you exported or shared, including copies on another person's device, is not deleted by this action.
DueGold is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy occasionally as the app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
